Cual es la differencia de blanqueamiento de Beconfident y otras marcas?

About Acne

In general acne is described as a four step process before you actually see what you would refer to as acne, being a whitehead, a blackhead or a red bump.

  • Natural or increased production of oil or sebum.
  • Pores clogged by dead skin cells and oil.
  • Bacterias starting to grow in number inside clogged pores.
  • Natural immune reaction to fight bacteria causes redness and inflammation.

It may be useful to know that there are very many people who suffer from acne in some form. You are not alone on this. 15-20% of all teenagers experience acne graded as moderate to severe. 30% of all teenagers have, at some point of time, acne that requires treatment. Later in life, acne can also occur, but not with equal frequency.

Do you get acne from being dirty?

No, you do not get acne being dirty, but it can add to the clogging of the skin pores. Therefore, we recommend that you wash your face maybe twice a day with mild soap and lukewarm water. If you wash your face too often it dries out the skin, which is not good.

There are some "dirt", e.g. oils used in engines, which however can have significant negative impact.

Can you cure acne?

No, there are no methods to cure acne because it is hormone dependent. All acne treatment is to limit the symptoms of acne. For most persons the troubles with acne disappears after puberty.

Can diet affect acne?

There is no scientifically reliable evidence that regular diet have any affect on acne. However, it is normally important that you eat a balanced diet to make you feel good. If you feel that your skin gets better when you avoid something in the diet it may be something that works for you.

Can exercise affect acne?

Exercise in general has no negative affect on acne. A moderate level of exercising is generally seen as positive. However, chlorine in swimming pools have a negative effect on your skin quality and increases the risk of your acne problem. The chlorine itself can also influence the development of acne so we encourage you to shower thoroughly after swimming in pools with chlorine.

What happens if I swallow the whitening gel?

If a small amount of the Beconfident teeth whitening gel is accidently swallowed (the amount used for whitening - about 2cc or less) you will be ok. We do not know of any adverse effects that were clinically measured during safety testing. If more than the amount typically used for whitening is ingested, visit A&E immediately.

What happens if I get the gel in my eyes?

Rinse with water immediately.

Why are there three mouth moulds supplied?

Three mouth moulds are supplied for your convenience in case a mistake is made when moulding one of them to your teeth. The spare mould can be used as a trial or kept safe in case of need at a later date if another is lost or damaged.

I have already purchased a teeth whitening kit from Beconfident, am I able to purchase individual items?

What are blue lights used for?

Blue lights that are found supplementary to some home teeth whitening products are used to dehydrate teeth, giving the appearance that teeth are whiter after treatments. This will only last a few days until the teeth become hydrated again.

Beconfident don't sell these products as they aren't whitening your teeth, they are just dehydrating your teeth.

Can I use Beconfident teeth whitening gels in mouth moulds that I have purchased elsewhere?

Yes you can. Beconfident teeth whitening gels can be purchased separately and used with other mouth trays.

Can I whiten my teeth if I have fillings, veneers or tooth jewellery?

Yes, you are still able to use the whitening treatments although fillings and veneers (anything other than the natural tooth) will not be whitened as Beconfident products are designed to whiten the enamel.

Can I whiten my teeth if I have an ulcer or other oral infection/ tooth decay or gum disease?

No, you should allow your mouth and gums to heal before any teeth whitening treatment as to not to irritate the wound / infection. If your oral infections persist you should visit the dentist / doctor.

Is this a substitute for regular dental appointments?

No, home use teeth whitening and oral care products should never be a substitute for having regular checkups at your dentist.

How frequently should I whiten my teeth?

Beconfident recommends that people limit their Beconfident whitening treatments to no more than three - four consecutive weeks every 3 months. However in our clinical studies, there have been no adverse effects when people whiten their teeth continuously.

What does the gel taste like?

The Beconfident Whitening Gel has the refreshing taste of melon as does the Dual Foam Toothpaste.

Will Beconfident teeth whitening provide the same results for everyone?

No, teeth are unique to each individual and results will vary from person to person. Teeth will be whitened back to a person's natural tooth colour.
